I lived a few blocks from the Eagle.... It has been in Midtown for years. Atlanta cops are trying to shut it down because the "NEW" midtowners are complaing about parking in the area at night, and the "NEW" midtowners say that bars bring prostitution and drug abuse into the area (ridiculous claim). 5 years ago they were successfull in getting the last 24 hour gay bar (or any 24 hour bar) shut down by using these excuses. It will not solve the crime issues and all of the "NEW" midtowners should be quite aware of the nightlife in that area before moving there...... If u dont wanna be around it..... MOVE TO THE BURBS.
