A) They shouldn't have thought about this issue in Twilight because that is what Jacob was suppose to. He wasn't suppose to be THAT tall people, or built. So stop saying they should have thought about this. B) When Jacob changes and ditches Bella for a while in new moon, he looks 100% different when he's back. It pretty much only makes since to me, at least, that there's a different Jacob after he changes. He is suppose to be a 16 year old boy who changes over night to look like a 27 year old. Because wear wolfs don't age so they have to reach their full maturity level... sorry it just makes since that theirs a new Jacob (:
