I live in Florida and was so disheartened last night when I learned that Amendment 2 passed and am even more appalled about the passing of Prop 8. America may have taken a step forward last night in electing Obama but took 5 steps back by passing these laws of hate. But the fight isn't over. These setbacks will be overcome, no matter how long it takes.
