You're completely biased and Im confident that if Lady Gaga was given the opportunity to have been in this video with Bob Dylan, you would be praising it for being 'nonsensical' and 'brilliant.'
If Bob Dylan wants to delve into the Christmas spirit why shouldn't he be able to? He is a human being, I don't think he spends all of his time criticizing the government and human injustice with a straight face. He can bring attention to human hunger while having fun too, noting that the proceeds of this album go to feeding the hungry.
I also hope you realize that half the reason for the creation of this video is to garner your exact reaction. Dylan is probably laughing his ass off right now at comments like yours because it's most likely what he expected to happen and wanted to happen. This video is not a joke on Bob Dylan Perez, the joke is really on you. Bob Dylan is always a step ahead.
Personally I think this is a unique take on the traditional Christmas songs that we're so accustomed to hearing. I'm sick of Mariah Carey's take. On that note, there have been many artists over the years who have released Christmas albums and you haven't ragged on them? And you obviously don't know Bob Dylan if you expected something typical.
How fast was she really going on this scooter anyways?? like .5 miles an hour? Unless Michelle gets distracted and Matilda just kinda rolls into the intersection and hasn't learned yet the dangers of cars, from living in New York City, then I doubt anything bad would happen to her head. If anything, I'd be putting on knee and elbow pads instead.
I'm disappointed now. Thanks Perez.
