You seem to have missed the point- The Galaxy stadium was only sold out last week because of Beckham- he has made more money for that club than any other player and more kids are interested in the game of soccer in the States than ever before because of him and his soccer camps.He did what he came to do in the States-bring more attention to the game.
I was at the game and 3 rows away from the "LA RIOT SQUAD" - They were a bunch of drunken offensive louts who constantly heckled and yelled whenever Beckham touched the ball. At half-time Beckham approached the "fans" and I saw him offer his hand in friendship- one of the "fans" lunged at him and was escorted out of the stadium.
