wow this really hit home for me. Over a year ago I found out that I had HPV and it turned out being one of the worst ones you can get(turns into cervical cancer) I had only been with 3 guys. Its the worst thing that has ever happend to me and even writing about it now brings tears to my eyes. Just 4 months after being diagnosed I already started having pre cancerous cells and therefore had to have the LEEP procedure where they shave out layers of your cervix. Its been a year since then and every pap smear Ive had since has come out normal,but I still have the virus and it could come back again. I feel like HPV is the next worst disease after HIV/AIDS. Id rather have herpes, at least that cant KILL you. Whats crazy is they came out with the vaccine jsut right after i found out.. people..USE CONDOMS and even tho there is not a test out YET for HPV for men make them get tested for everything else..and when they do have one for men you have got to make them do this. I know who gave this to me and I feel so sorry for everyother girl that is going to get this and have to go thry what I have and what many other women do.It makes me so mad to read people saying"well she shouldnt have slept around only sluts get that" THAT IS SO NOT TRUE!!!!!!!!!!! its a horrible horrible thing to have to go thru :(
