It isn't a matter of having equality for everyone, to me it is a matter of freedom of religion for all. If this proposition doesn't pass, ministers who don't agree with gay marriage will be forced to to perform them in order to keep their licenses ... some may even be sued, for refusing to perform gay marriages (as has already done). If this bill doesn't pass, how long will it be before the the government forces my children to be taught things about gay marriage that don't line up with my beliefs? It has nothing to do with hate -- we love all people but in America, the freedom of religion is one of our most sacred rights and if this proposition doesn't pass, some of that freedom will be eroded in California.
