Absolutely disgusting. I can see why members of a private swim club wouldn't want their pool to be crowded by active, excited kids, but the fact that they don't want them there solely based on their race disgusts me beyond belief. This is the 21st century...it boggles my mind that people can even still think like that. So sad...

Nice gesture, but there are issues that are SO much more important that this it is not even funny. The economy, a war, national security...Congress doesn't have time to waste. Also, I understand he was a musical legend, but plenty of other people are more heroic than he ever was for our country (soldiers).

This is not a left/right issue. This is a decency issue. It should never be okay for a man to joke about the rape of any girl or woman. Rape is a serious issue that has affected so many people, and it is exceedingly distasteful and outright disgusting to joke about something so vile. Anyone who believes this is simply a liberal/conservative issue needs a wake-up call. With that said, I wonder how many of you would be making your ignorant comments if the Obama girls were the target of such a joke. It shouldn't matter who is being targeted. This joke is a blatant slap in the face to many people. Now, I don't know if firing him is the right answer, but at the very least I would like to see a true acknowledgement for the severity of this joke.
