This Alaska Independence Party stuff is all nonsense. The origin of the story was someone named Brumhiller I believe. The charge was not sourced. It was completely made up and has been directly refuted by Palin and McCain. Like her or not, this story is completely inaccurate. She's been a registered Republican since 1982 when she turned 18.
