like they say "dont hate the player hate the game". Oprah has earned her money, she can do what she wants to with it. It isnt like she was bestowed with her wealth- she had to earn it through hard work in a obvious prejudice country. A country that collectively agrees, nay, embraces the right to open markets and adhere to a neo-liberatarian ideology. The problems with the economy and the large gaps in social classes isnt because of Oprah, she is just fortunate enough to have sucessfully worked the system. So stop hating her for her money and claiming that shes cheap. She doesnt have to give you anything. Oprah is one of the largest philanthropist in Hollywood and i am completely appauled that you would critique her when so many others dont give at all. Im sure the majority of you pointing the finger and calling Oprah cheap have never willingly donated anything.
