on Oprah Fires Back at 19:41 06/04/2009as a pharmaceutical rep in the women's healthcare field, i can tell you most ob/gyns cannot stand her and have to spend more time counseling their patients against oprah's advice than to prevent / diagnose / treat their patient population. i specifically sponsored a coffee bruch today with two gyn doctors that have a community open discussion and 70% of the talk was rebutting against oprah's advice on "bioidentical" hormones. it is crazy how much influence oprah does have on the population - but she does, for the most part, offer two sides to every issue which is necessary and she brings to light a lot of issues women face physically and emotionally.

on R.I.P. at 03:59 08/20/2008wow... what a night. i witnessed my 48th dave matthews band show, the first ever without mr. leroi moore. it was a night full of tears and shakes and thoughts of "i can't believe leroi has passed on." sitting from the 2nd row, i could witness dave, carter and stefan choking up throughout the show. not only was leroi the quietest member of the band, but he was by far the sweetest i had ever met. in 2001 leroi had invited me on his tour bus at the gorge in washington, to take pictures, give me autographed items and backstage passes because he just adored the fact i loved jazz as much as he did. leroi continued his discourse with me by talking to me from the stage, handing me setlists and waving from time to time. i know leroi valued the fact that i was such a fan of his and adored the attention, but he also shy-ed away from all the attention given by strangers. i know he just loved what he did everyday and the lives he influenced, and today could not be harder for me as a fan and a friend. with all of our love, bonnie and tee
