on More New Glambert! at 03:48 11/27/2009I preferred this rendition to the one at the AMA's. However I still think the song is little better than an album filler. I'm disappointed because I think Glambert has a phenomenal voice. Once in a generation. I just think it's wasted on this piffle. Come on Adam. Is this the kind of music you want to hang your hat on? I think he's got more talent than most of the singers out there now, but a career is only built on fantastic material. This song is ordinary.

on CBS: Okay To Show Girl-On-Girl Kiss, NOT Okay To Show Guy-On-Guy Smooch at 03:32 11/27/2009I have to say, seeing two guys kissing, isn't top of my hit-parade, but if it's okay to see men and women kiss on stage or on TV, then it has to be okay to show two guys. It also has to be okay for people to cringe and cover their eyes if that is their reaction, but in a free and democratic world, all people are equal and none can be more equal than the other. You really have to suspend judgement on what for many is completely normal behaviour. So if Adam wants to kiss or fondle his musicians - as is his wont - then he should. Of course, could you imagine being a straight musician on stage with him, quivering in your boots thinking `Oh God! Not me! Not Me!' No offence intended to Adam, I think he's amazing but I think I'd rather kiss Britney and Madonna - preferably at the same time, but never, never on stage. I'm far to classy for that!

on Adam Lambert's Cock Shock! at 16:23 11/23/2009Adam's voice is as good as it always was, though the song choice is ill-thought out and his vocals lacked judgement. The sexual didn't seem that raunchy to me, but it was still silly to marginalise his audience. A vocal performance shouldn't be about sexual choice, it should be singing the song. I think he needs to remember he is not the first singer with a phenomenal voice to grace the stage. Song choice will make him or break him. Even with the right choices he has maybe 5-10 years at the top. Fading away because of silly song choices will cost him tens of millions. Personally, I think that song was at best, an album filler. It was also self-indulgent crap. Pity, because I think he is a brilliant singer. His sexual choice is his own best. I really don't care about it, but I just can't play and listen to crap songs.

on Britney Speaks About Australian Criticism! at 08:23 11/11/2009My advice to concert goers, is go to see live musicians who actually play instruments and sing with actual human voices rather than machines. Pub bands wouldn't last five minutes if they tried lip-synching and rightly so. Patronise real musicians.

on Britney Speaks About Australian Criticism! at 08:17 11/11/2009Aussies are serial bandwagon jumpers. No question. Local newspapers ran the lip-synching stories BEFORE the concert and lo and behold, a bunch of sanctimonious nitwits walked out. Duh! So why doesn't she sing live? Because she can't. She also can't dance, lip synch or speak in coherent sentences. Stompng about the stage and flopping in and amongst a bunch of dancers isn't actual dancing. Britney is just the latest incarnation from the music machine that brought you Milli Vanilli. I'm utterly amazed that she's done as well as she has for such a long time without actually ever singing, dancing or doing anything remotely entertaining. The less said about her appearance in her hooker hotpants, the better.
