on R.I.P. at 23:35 11/11/2008I am actually from Wilmington, Ohio. This situation is devistating. there are only 12,000 people that reside in the city alone, and 8,000 jobs are being cut. In this town it is a common joke that everyone who lives there must work at "DHL, ABX" at some point in their lives. Unless you are bad at math this means 3/4 of the people from Wilmington and surrounding areas are about to lose their jobs. I know SEVERAL families that BOTH parents work at DHL, what are they supposed to do? Whether or not you have a problem with DHL themselves, think about all of these people who will lose EVERYTHING. In Wilmington, there really is NO WHERE else to go. No matter what had happened in this election or who was voted in, no one gets a "magic wand" to fix this. Both sides of this election promised the people that Ohio was going to be a focus, lets see if they really mean it. And either way, no president's focus is on a small town in the middle of Ohio.
