Actually it's not like it's solely gay people that have to pay the estate tax. Yes it doesn't usually apply to married people but it does apply to children or anyone else you want to will your assests to. The death tax in general needs to be repealed...not only at the federal level but in all the States that utilize it.

It's editorials like this that make me wish he had been the Republican nominee for President. He's not saying that the companies should go bankrupt, but that in order for them to survive and flourish they need to drastically change their operating procedures. The American automakers need to make themselves competitive with other companies in their industry. Simply handing over billions of dollars to failing companies will not fix the underlying problems, it will merely delay the inevitible. And if you read the article closely, Mr. Romney says "It is not wrong to ask for government help, but the automakers should come up with a win-win proposition."

Hello? McCain was trying to do his JOB which is to address national issues and vote on legislation. No wonder Obama doesn't want to postpone the debate, if Congress votes on this legislation Obama wouldn't want to cast a vote that would alianate voters would he? I would love to hear something besides empty rethoric from him. And check the facts Perez, McCain wanted to do an additional 10 "town-hall" style meetings that would have taken questions from the crowds there. Everyone knows Obama wouldn't agree to them because he's terrible without a teleprompter!
