I don't believe that she only got to know the kids after Michael died. It seemed at the memorial that the kids, Paris especially, seemed fairly comfortable with her and I really don't think you could get that after a week... even a traumatizing week like the kids had. In any case... if Janet wants to raise them and they want Janet and everyones happy with that, I think that would be amazing. People being concerned because she would be a single "mother"... really? Would we prefer Joe Jackson over a single mother? Or perhaps Debbie Rowe (who, btw, is also single... though that's the least of her problems.).
I dunno how I feel about this. Apparently, she was set to release an album before Michael died with a different single. Now, she's changed the single to this one and plans to donate all the money to charity AND is postponing her album release. It's either actually very sweet, or a very crafty way to play sweet. I don't know her and I can't judge her... though, we all certainly know she's had her... moments. She seemed to have redeemed herself in Michael's eyes so I'm not sure that we, as Michael fans, should be judging.
Oh, shush. How are you gonna judge his will? I'm quite sure he had his reasons. Lots of people leave things to specific family members. It sure as hell doesn't mean he hated the rest of his family. It MEANS he had a reason for leaving them what he left them. And it's getting really tiresome seeing everyone judge every single thing that the man has done.
BUT, I hear great things AND Marissa is one of the most amazing people I have ever met.
