In addition she sold over 39 million copies of her come on over and she crossed over with this album to the Pop, AC and Country charts, staying in the billboard charts for 22 months. This by far surpasses Rihanna's efforts.

Innocent until proven guilty; is that not the basis of your legal system? The world is always so quick to paint everyone with the guilty brush without knowing any of the facts because it makes for more interesting news. Yes an average person may not have been able to receive permission to have done same, but then again a celebrity is easier to spot around the world then a average person, thus reducing a flight risk or really ever escaping justice should it be so ordered.

It drives me crazy how many people don't realise that the Queen actually returns all of her income that is derived from her private estates (homes not part of the public trust). The Queen, personally owns the Duchies of Lancaster and Cornwall (a property company, holding farms, buildings, etc.. ). In 2007 the Duchies had a income of £11.9 million. All of this income is to transferred to her British treasury in return for the Civil List payments (the £7.9 million referenced). She easily pays her own keep, plus put's a little extra in the treasury. This doesn't include what income is made from the British Crown Estate (income made from tourist visiting her homes that are not personally owned by her, but are owned by her in trust for the people, etc... - 100% of this income also goes to the treasury).
