Okay I'm just going to say it.... It's not like they came out with blackface and danced around like gollywogs...... that would have been racist. As soon as they introduced the act I thought to myself "gee I hope they don't come out in blackface" but sure enough they did. Yes they should have thought about it a bit more, yes the producers shouldn't have allowed them to go on. But COME ON!!! And if I hear one more American claim that WE need to pick up a history book and read about YOUR history. I'm sure there are millions of American's who don't know about our history. I'm more than willing to admit that I'm racist..... you're racist, he's racist, she's racist, they're racist - everyone is racist whether they are willing to admit it or not. If someone kills or maims in the name of racism then they should be condemned for it, but to do a comedy skit and have all of this hoopla over it is just ridiculous. Surely there are more important things to complain about at the moment.
