So paparazzi are allowed to stalk people, take pictures of them without their permission, then sell them for outrageous amounts of money, and that is seen as OK and perfectly legal. But when a fed-up celebrity hits them, they're slammed with battery charges? Now, of course assault is illegal, but last time I checked, so is taking pictures of someone and then selling it. And hell yeah I love reading about gossip and seeing pictures of celebrities that are taken by paparazzi, but in America there needs to be some regulation on this stuff. You can't expect someone to never lose their cool when they are being bombarded by flashing cameras all day long. Sorry, but Sean Penn shouldn't be the one being charged here, the paparazzo should. The American justice system really needs to get it's shit together and stop protecting professional stalkers.

My point was that the man shouldn't be called a pedophile. The more correct term is rapist. I wasn't saying that it made him any less of a criminal, just that he wasn't a pedophile.

OK, this guy definitely deserves whatever sentence he receives. However, he's not a "pedophile" and saying that he is, is just plain ignorant. Pedophilia is the attraction to prepubescent children. The girl that Polanski raped whas 13 and she had definitely already hit puberty. So yeah, this guy is a rapist because he did have sex with a minor and consensual or not, it's still rape. He is not a pedophile though!

I think she looks fabulous. In fact, I think she dresses pretty decent most of the time, as it is. She does have a bit of an attitude problem, though.

I find Lady Gaga's quote about being a "strong woman" offensive. So, what she's trying to say is that now being a strong woman means that you need to dress like a half naked alien and make "provocative" statements and sub-par music? Oh please! Hey Lady Gaga, you are NOT a strong woman! You are an untalented, gimmicky whore. You wanna see a strong woman? Go look at a single mom who works full time and still has time to help her kids with homework. Or a woman climbing the corporate ladder in a male-dominated workplace. Dancing around on stage, singing shit music, dressing ridiculously does not equate to "strong"!
