And the scum is still rising to the top. How long are people going to milk this for their own moment in the spotlight? How hard is it to let this guy just finally rest in peace?
If he is in a rehab program, that's far better than crowding up the jails. At least in the rehab program, he can learn how to deal with his issues & not have this problem again. If he's in jail, he'll probably do the same thing again. I think it was a fair decision, & it's pretty much what anyone on their first offense would get. Hopefully he can get his act together, because if he can, he'll deserve a second chance. If he doesn't, then he deserves what he gets.
I always felt a little bit of a connection with Chaz, because we basically grew up together. I always remember watching her on tv with her parents, and thinking she was the luckiest kid I'd ever seen. I'm glad to see that Cher is just like any other parent. A lot of my friends who are gay, have parents who feel the same way as Cher does. Just because they have a hard time accepting their child's choice, it does not take away the love they have for that child. One of my friend's mom told me "I'm not excited about my son being gay, any more than I would had he told me he was an addict or gotten a girl pregnant. Just because I don't agree with his lifestyle, doesn't mean I'm still not the same mom, who would take a bullet for him, & will always be." I think that's Cher's attitude as well.
I think everyone is just getting tired of the whole thing. Why watch them on tv when they're all over every magazine & tabloid, & all over the internet? This is what they call oversaturation!
