Mariah, a prostitute? I'm a HUGE fan of Madonna and the words "plastic surgery" and "prostitute" seem to coincide better with her. We all know that Madonna is a so-called "loose" woman, but rather than condemning her private life and choices, we look to see how she has influenced pop culture and other artists', as well as her humanitarian work. She is confident, sexual, and eternally youthful. Saying all this, what gives anyone the right to speak lowly about Mariah when she has proved to be nothing but humble. Donning these dresses is part of her costume as an entertainer and she wants to live a fabulous life after living a life as a multi-racial kid who lived in poverty for most of her life. Mariah looks beautiful and she also seeks to help kids who were just as underprivleged as she was. She's an amazing person. It's time you got a bit of positivity.PS. This feud between Madonna and Mariah is over 13 years old. Madonna said she would kill herself if she was Mariah Carey back in '96 and Mariah retaliated with saying she didn't really listen to Madonna seeing as she "used" to be popular when she was in middle school. Sadly your comment has little relevance considering that Lee Daniels is known to be very good friends with Mariah for a number of years. In addition, he worked with her in another film, "Tenneessee" and wanted her to be in "Precious" since he enjoyed working with her the first time. Also, he is seen holding her and kissing her on the cheek in other stills. He's gay, fabulous, and creative-- why woulnd't Mariah not like him? She's amazing. Have you met in person? I doubt it. I've met her four times and she is so sweet, humble, and amazing.

Mariah knows that she isn't a good dancer. She can move her hips a bit and she does the same moves whenever she is dancing to an upbeat song, but she is NO DANCER. She is a singer/song-writer.
Also, since the BEGINNING of her career (1990), she always said she had stage fright and she becomes very, very nervous. She was obviously nervous here since she hasn't performed live in a good while. Her nervousness was really cute anyway and her voice was also very good. The back up singers on the other hand, were pitchy and not even trying to harmonize with her (hence why she would smile when they went out of tune). Fortunately this made her look top knotch. Her personality really shined her too: Cute and funny.
