yay! If only this were truth, instead of just a contract negotiation tactic. Can't stand her, she adds nothing but babbling to the show. i guess I'm the only one who appreciates Kara's detailed, lucid, accurate critiques. She definitely added much more this season that Paula ever has. Paula was pulled out of has-been-land, and it's time to go back. Kara, some of us want you back, and hope FOX does NOT renew Paula. Enough DRAMA.
I'll tell you exactly what happened. She's about to be 29, she's a typical girly-woman of that age - she's freaking that she's not married, and her bio clock is ticking. She's been hinting about marriage for a while now and I'm sure the hints for a birthday engagement ring were flying. Tony has a job that starts NOW, and he needs to focus on that. She is losing her career, and youth -- she pushed, he jumped. Simple as that.
I think I'm the only woman I know who didn't run after some man to get married by 25 or 30! but all my friends had that panic thing going. They get awfully clingy and will marry anybody...
um, TUMMY TUCK -- and other cosmetic surgeries, which either cause dysfunction for awhile or obvious bruising/swelling. I can tell you that anhyone with fibroids would have had them removed along with 8 bbs, and they do not develop again so quickly. NOR are they something that is usually removed by surgical procedures! I've had them for decades, and no need to remove them. This is BS. Fibroids are very minor, especially compared to giving birth. Even if you do have th em cauterized, you will bounce back immediately.
TUMMY TUCKs, however, are VERY debilitating, you don't bounce back in a couple of days or even a week. You have to be still, not lift, bend, sit up, etc. You are dependent on others. Anyone remember Kate Gosselin's tuck? Even Miss "I'll Do It Myself" was obviously unable to do much more than whimper and lie stil. THAT is the tuck reality, my sister had one last year, I've had friends with them. Fibroid surgery does not involve muscles and ligaments, as do t.tuck and hysterectomy.
Miss OctoThang had something a lot more involved than a fibroid scrape.
