Please get over this. It was passed. It's over. And besides.. it's not a 'lie' that this affects religous groups. It absolutely does and it's not a minister or preists job to go against the word of God and the Bible. It's like premarital sex... ministers don't go around to teenagers and say have sex but do it safely. They speak about absitance. It also says in the Bible that God said that if men get the urge to be sexual with other men and women with other women that they are to ignore that desire.

I get the sarcasm but I'm sorry to say that as ridiculous as gay marriage is, divorce is just as ridiculous. Divorce is way too easy nowadays and marriage isn't taken as seriously as it once was. Divorce DOES mess up children and two people go into marriage knowing that divorce is an option so hey, if it doesn't work out, who cares right? It's sad for women and men who actually take this commitment seriously. I've come to realize that people are more worried about having a successful career than a successful marriage. Bottom line: divorce does need to become harder amongst people.

Elizabeth did what a majority of Republicans have done. No matter who the president is you support him, maybe not agree with everything, but you support him because you're very proud to be an American at all times. Maybe if liberals had come together and supported Bush instead of saying that he wasn't their president, things would have been different. Everyone is talking about uniting and moving forward now but why couldn't that have been done then? Because liberals didn't want to. Unity is only a good thing when it's convienient for them. After all, as a white girl with a black fiancee, I was told by him that I wouldn't be able to go over to his place if Obama lost because someone would literally kill me all because of my skin color. As I said, uniting is only a good thing when it's convienient for liberals.
