TOTALLY agree about the literacy. those books are great for vocabulary! very well written, with great literary devices and messages for every day life embedded in the greater metaphor of the wizarding world!

there are MORE fans of harry potter who dislike twilight than are fans of the series
maybe they have to borrow from the HP fanbase, but inane teeny-bopper fiction like twilight doesn't come close to the depth of harry potter!
