The poor thing. BTW- leaving the AC on for the dog, or a tv/radio or anything like that is perfectly normal, especially if it's hot out! That's not crazy, it's cruel not to. This story just breaks my heart. i've got two small dogs and if a coyote carried one of them off right in front of me, I don't know how i'd deal.

She's absolutely right. People in europe work to live, not the other way around. Family time and time off for vacations is seen as very important unlike here where you're expected to work till you die and maybe, you can squeeze in a little free time.
