Ellen and her crew suck big time. Forget the nice lady you see on TV. A couple of years ago my sweetie and I had a so called reservation to her show, made months in advance. We got a confirmation call a couple of days before. We got up at the crack of dawn to leave from San Diego to brave and cross the LA traffic to get to Burbank (NBC studios by 9 AM). When we got there all the entry tickets had been passed out. We could get on a consolation waiting list in which, at best we would be allowed into a side room at the time of taping. Now here is the REAL kicker: even IF we HAD managed to get tickets, we would have had to twiddle our thumbs for in Los Angeles/Burbank for about 8 hours before the taping would start. We decided she wasn't worth it. We went back to San Diego. Other shows give real tickets out and don't ask you to show up until a couple of hours before the taping. Is she that insecure that there will not be an audience for her????
