I'm sorry... what's the problem? Many people do this. It's not like she's going to be the surrogate mother, or use her eggs for fertilization. It's a coping mechanism, and a way for her to fulfill her young, dead son's wishes. Certainly isn't the first time.
It costs a lot of money and fuel to send food to Antarctica. These people are living in very shitty weather for very little pay to help understand the environment more. If they want seal brains, let them have it. I have no qualms.
