They never should have gotten rid of Paulina. She was THE supermodel, and told it like it is, without being nasty, like Janice. I like the Jays and others, too. I used to watch it, but it's gone downhill. Paulina was the only draw for me. Jay Manuel hosts Canada's Next Top Model - he's better.

What a horrible thing to say - both on her mom's part and on your's, Perez. Absolutely - Moms (and Dads) are supposed to tell you you're the most beautiful, smart, etc., person in the world. And you know what? They're also supposed to genuinely believe it when they say it. In her Emmy speech, Tina Fey thanked her parents for giving her so much self-confidence.

I think it's admirable that she still went on - kudos to Madge for that. She is definitely old school, and that's a compliment. But I wonder about her safety, being around all the electronic equipment, in the rain, perhaps lightning? I'm going to ask my engineer husband about it. Maybe they could rig a cover over the stage for rainy shows?
