Wow. People are incredibly passionate when they feel an assault on their religion...hmm...Is that a surprise to anyone? As in most cases, this is over one of the most ridiculous 'issues' I have ever read about. Seriously, many of you are upset about this because you think a gossip blogger is demeaning Christianity? I think people who claim to find a saviour in their breakfast or in their daily circle check do far more harm to 'the cause' than any commentator could. Why people take every jab at those who claim to represent a miracle in their religion as an assault on the faith in its entirity, I will never understand. What I do take issue with is people who come from a creationist background who try to manipulate evidence to suit their own purposes. Scientists make very few attempts to represent their findings as fact or truth. Theories by definition are unprovable. They are meant to represent our very best explanations for a given phenomenon based on a careful analysis of the evidence available. When a theory can be disproved, it falls from relevance. The creationist hypothesis (as it is popularly taught) has been proven to be entirely incorrect. The idea that the world's inception came at a point thousands of years ago is laughable. The theory of evolution holds far more weight under scrutiny than does the creationist view. A simple examination of the fossil record should provide any doubters with ample evidence to the contrary.
Maybe if you had a half-way logical argument to back up your vitriol someone here may take your comments seriously....til then, enjoy you blindness little lamb.
Why are people getting so riled up about this comment? He didn't insult Nirvana. He simply said that the grunge period was devoid of the more whimsical, quirky elements of rock music. Is that incorrect? If you could conjure kurt's spirit & ask him about his music do you think he would describe it as fun? It is so annoying that people have this god-like conception of Kurt Cobain. Sure he was great, but let it go. He is certainly not deserving (who is?) or likely desiring sainthood (wherever he is).

Omg...get over it....kurt cobain ruined nirvana by, uhh, killing himself...if you think courtney had such an omnipotent influence, you must think kurt must have been some stupid sucker. So, why do you seem to idolize him so?
