on Levi John$ton To Write Palin Tell-All! at 17:36 04/23/2009i work in the capitol. i see the governor on days she's in town. the woman looks frailer and frailer by the day. it's tragic--she used to be an amazing governor. now... now we're not so sure about where she's coming from, or what she's doing =( i miss the old sarah. meanwhile, there is obviously some kind of conflict grueling between both families. the palins are pretty cool people; bristol got mixed up in the highschool koolkids klub and haaaad to date the hot hockey player (the equivalent of the q-back here in alaska). i don't know what to think, really, but i wish the palins would stop publicly responding, and i wish levi would quietly take whatever problem he has to court. it's taking up so much time in alaska. we who work in government are trying to make our state a better place and all this distraction... well, derails progress.

on Alabama Honors Miss California at 17:30 04/23/2009of course they do not all feel that way. alabama is just as great a state as any other. here in alaska, before she went on the campaign trail and came back a zombie, governor palin put the issue of same-sex benefits for state employees not to a decision she herself should solely make, but to the people for a vote. and even though there was a squeaker in which the "no" side won, she still hasn't taken those benefits away. i hope the issue isn't revisited as she's come back a changed woman. maybe when her son gets home from iraq this fall she'll be less crazy. anyway, this issue in alabama is obviously going to be decided not by a public vote, but by people who will make decisions for their constituents. or maybe their constituents wrote them? in that case, it's not entirely lawmakers' faults. thanks for listening to both sides of the story. love what you do.
