Reading through some of these comments is just pissing me off.
I'm seriously hoping that Prop 8 failed--If I lived in CA, I would definitely have voted no, though I know that makes little difference.
What pisses me off to no end is that people CONTINUE to run on and on about marriage being for a man and a woman. Marriage is not supposed to be about procreation, assholes! Marriage is a legally binding contract between two consenting adults who promise to spend there lives together. If two men or two women chose to enter into that union, so fucking be it. Who the fuck are you to say it's wrong? And there are plenty of straight couples who marry and chose to never have children--if marriage is solely for procreation, why the fuck haven't we outlawed this, too, hmm?
I hope one day this horribly unjust system will finally realize that all men created equally does not just apply to one's skin or religion, but to one's sexuality as well.
