Rehab won't work unless she checks herself in and holds herself accountable for the state of her life.
At a guess, I'd say her family don't help, because there's not much they can do. They've checked her into rehab before and it didn't work. That decision is up to her.
My family have suffered a similar situation, but stopped trying to help, (on advice from a drug and alcohol counsellor) which ultimately saw our relative check themselves into rehab and remain sober for more than 5 years now.
It's very sad though. I would hate to spend even a minute inside her head.
There is no such thing as humane killing for fur. China plucks the fur from angora rabbits without killing them, rabbits are also held by the feet, whacked against something concrete and skinned alive, Minks are farmed in tiny cages and skinned alive, seal pups are bludgeoned over the head and skinned alive, quite often with their mother frantically looking on, foxes are skinned alive, oh yea, next time you buy those fur lined boots and hooded coats, do some research on what kind of fur that is, because cat fur is being passed off as rabbit too... Would you like me to go on?All of this is documented not just with PETA, but WSPA, SPCA, RSPCA, WWF etc etc.You can all call PETA creepy and psycho all you like, but PETA is choosing to speak for those without a voice and if you're fine with wearing the skin of a BABY animal who was either purposely raised barbarically and tortured, or poached and violently killed, then you're as accountable as the poachers who kill them.

Banning gay marriage. If someone could show me how this is more important than the various disasters that the US is facing, I'd sure like to know.
