How very hypocritical of you Perez, trying to stop hate with your own hate. That's really going to turn votes in your favor but oh wait, what votes? The votes were already tallied and you lost...now be a good little boy and move the hell on and sign up for domestic partnership, you'll get your damn equal rights with that.
What I don't understand is why are you guys so hell bent on getting married? In California, we have domestic partnerships which grant you the same rights as a married couple so how did the Mormon Church take away your rights? What rights did they take away from you that you didn't have with domestic partnerships? I could see where you were coming from if you didn't have the same rights with domestic partnerships but you do...so why are you guys still crying?
And this isn't progression at all, what you guys basically did was take the vote of the majority of California and shove it right back up their asses. Why vote anyway, if it's so easy to overturn the vote? What kind of democracy do we have when the vote of the majority keeps getting thrown back on the damn ballot?
What I don't understand is why you're so hell bent on hating the Mormon religion. I mean, Mormon's aren't the only religion that are against gay marriage so why is it that they're the only religion on your shit list?
Isn't the whole purpose for Prop 8 to let California decide whether to keep it legal or not? If that's the case then California hasn't yet decided and if I remember correctly, back in 2000 Prop 22 was passed by Californians to ban same sex marriages so right now it's still up in the air.
For what? They just donated 1 million bucks to this campaign, didn't they? Me thinks if they have that much money to donate, they're getting paid just fine...
