I have a feeling it's for the show. He started looking bulkier this season. For the first 4 years they are running around the jungle he should be damn skinny. This season he had been living at the Dharma compound for 3 years so he had clean hair, was shaven most of the time and heavier. He's still waaaayyy hotter than the Weepy Mcsobbington he costars with.
