Wow, that is horrible. Very powerful words from someone who is a lot of pain right now. And BTW lay off Perez for what was originally posted at least he didn't put up the ambulance photo like ET did. That was tasteless and no matter what you think of Perez he calls them like he sees them right or wrong but at least he has some respect.

You bring up some very valid points. No one deserves to be hit. I believe in karma. However karma is not being attacked violently for publicly, through your website, stating how you feel or what you think. If someone has a problem with something you say or do they can choose to ignore it. If you dislike some god awful music you should say it without fear or violent recourse. Should an actor be allowed to hit a movie critic if they don't like their film? Should a child be able to hit their parent if they don't like something they did? The answers are no. Freedom of speech is a right we all have so is freedom of press. Would people say you deserved it if you were a woman? I doubt as many people would but there are always sick lowly individuals out there that revel in people getting hurt. In a situation such as yours you uttered a word you knew somewhere in the back of your head would get a response. It is regretful. In the same situation where someone was in my face who knows what I might say though or what anyone else would have said. There are quiet a few people who in that situation would have hit the person saying those words. You never should have been hit by anyone. It is wrong. Stay strong.

Saw the article this morning but didn't get to watch the video til just now. Made me cry. Hugs and kisses to you. What a terrible thing to happen. No matter what people's opinion is of what you write/say violence isn't the answer. Not talking to you or seeking you out on purpose would have been better. It is unfortunate the police responded the way they did. It is an issue that I have dealt with personally as well and it is scary. Stay strong, the truth will prevail.
