HUUUUUUUUUGE mistake. I love Ellen but this is really going to damage a beautiful success story of her career which is going to start sliding from the peaks. American Idol will make her more irrelevant as the show will be bigger than her. You could clearly see that on her guest appearance on SYTYCD. She was not qualified to "judge" - are we now going to sit through an entire season of carpenter and nail jokes when we really care for constructive criticism from experts about the craft, technique and the industry? Matt Lauer said on this morning's TODAY show that Paula made a big mistake. WTF, she had every right to demand what her male counterpart (host RS) had received. Here we go again with sexist hypocricy and inequality. AI made the HUGE mistake of letting go of Paula - the show will never be the same again without her spirit and she will be greatly missed.
