None of this would have mattered if it wasn't for Carrie giving her honest answer to a question posed to her. If being Miss California or Miss USA for that matter means being a puppet never taking a stand on any issues then she would be better off without the stupid crown. The people over at Miss California don't agree with her views and if they take her crown away, that will be the only reason. They just want to dig something up to use as an excuse but the real reason is her stand on same sex marriage. I wish her all the best!

All this nonsense is stupid and immature. She won the Miss California title and it is hers whether you agree with her views or not. According to the elections 52% agree with her. Either way that is not the point. She was asked a question and answered honestly and should be applauded for that no matter what your stand is. Now the subject of breast implants is brought up. Who cares? Did anyone ask how many other contestants had this done. What difference does it make. Are there any rules in the pageant against it? Perez is really giving the gay community bad coverage. Most gay people don't agree with Miss Californa but at the same time don't agree with all the negativity Perez is spreading around. If he wants tolerance he needs to give it too. Why punish someone for having beliefs and being true and honest to them!?

This interview was fantastic and showed America what we lost by not giving Carrie the crown. (No offense to Miss North Carolina) Perez handled himself as poorly as he did in other interviews. Is he crazy saying morals have no place in this pageant? No matter what your opinion is on gay marriage, she did right by giving a truthful heartfelt answer and not cowering to what people would have wanted to hear. Why ask an opinion question if you don't want a truthful answer. Kuddos Carrie! California and the rest of the country are proud of you!

The only thing stupid here is Perez Hilton trying the use this as a forum for his own agenda. Grow up, not everyone is going to agree with you. Give the girl some credit for having her own mind and not being a mindless follower like you and some of your followers. The same sex marriage issue has nothing to do with this pageant and she should be applauded for sticking to her values whether you agree with her or not. You're public bashing of her only shows what kind of fool you are! And the Miss USA people for choosing such a biased person as a judge. Why is it ok for you to bash people that don't agree with you.

If Keith Lewis really believes religious views have no place in the Miss USA family than why did they let Hilton ask a question like that. And why punish Miss California for answering honestly and from her heart instead of just saying what she thinks they want to hear. And why not reprimand Hilton for his sneering looks after the answer.
