Kate Hudson has NEVER been desperate and arod is playing better than ever. To call Kurt Russell her "sorta stepdad" is silly, considering she's stated many times she considers him her father.
I don't even really like Kate. I've hated all of her movies since Almost Famous (and shamefully, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days), but Perez pisses me off sometimes.
