I just can’t stop crying! This is the first time that I have ever decided to vote and it is because I believe in what President Obama can do to bring change in the United States! I am so proud to be an American and see that this country is filled more with people that believe in choosing a candidate based on who they are and what they can do to bring change to our great country regardless of their race or gender. This piece of history is picking up where the great Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. left off and will continue to show the world that the majority of Americans believe in an America where people are equal regardless of race, religion, or gender. We as a nation will pull together and begin to rebuild our country together. End a war that has essentially caused our great country to go into a recession. Assist the people that worked so hard for so many years to have a piece of the great American dream and own their own homes. Create jobs to provide them to the people that have worked hard every day to take care of their families. And hopefully show the American people that diversity is a wonderful thing and that the stereotypes of people of different races and religions are not what they claim to be and will not be tolerated in our country.
