I'm not saying she should have won because she had learning difficulties - I don't think she should have won at all and you'd know that if you had read the last part of my post. All I'm saying is saying she's a nutcase and that she can't talk to people or whatever is a bit of out of line - she does kind of have a little excuse for that. Besides, she's a little eccentric but I wouldn't say she was a nutcase.
I never saw much of a hate campaign anywhere except on the internet, and seeing as the people who frequent blogs/forums etc. are generally not massive television viewers I don't think it made a real difference. She had as much chance as anyone else, regardless of when her audition was, but she just didn't pull it off on the night. She only lost by less than 4% of the vote anyway.
Not very cool to say that, to be honest. Susan Boyle actually has learning difficulties due to being deprived of oxygen as a child. (I'm glad Diversity won, but the Susan Boyle hatred spewing forth from some Brits today is absurd.)
Except not a single person on that list ever touched a child sexually, and most of them were happily married to women. Not that it matters. For your information, by the by, the kids in that group are the brothers of the other members.
The adults on the show wouldn't have got a second chance, no, but that's because they are expected to have the maturity and experience age gives you to handle pressurised situations better. Children are easily frightened and put off, and to force them to come up to the same standards as an adult is ridiculous.
She's only 10. She's only been talking for eight or so years, nevermind singing. Should she be held to the same rules as Susan Boyle who's been singing for forty odd?

I think not.
