The film was almost universally panned. His "expert" that talked about econ was Wallace Shawn, for God's sake. Wallace. Shawn. It packed none of the punch that "Roger and Me" or "Bowling for Columbine" did. Those were actually interesting and informative. After that, he went downhill.

He didn't die. Randy Quaid's character died. Which works out pretty well since he might be in prison soon anyway...sad.

Stupid. I don't get the appeal. I mean, he's dirty. He's not particularly handsome or charming- no charisma. He smokes. He has said that sometimes he can't stand his own smell (EW) and he plays a terrible, overrated character. And people are beating each other over posters of his face?

If Jeff Goldblum's in it, I'll watch it. Independence Day was a seriously good movie. And I'd totally vote for Bill Pullman.

JOEL!!!!!!!! MY BFF. I love him. And he's so nice too! Saw him live in June, and even though it was late and he looked really tired, he stayed and signed autographs for everyone that wanted one. And he had a conversation with each fan that came up. He really cares about his fans! So sweet!
And his stand-up is even funnier than the Soup, so if he comes to your town, I HIGHLY recommend you go see him.
