on Auto Industry CEOs = HYPOCRITES! at 13:08 11/19/2008 as a reply on the comment by SgirlThey might not deserve it, but what about the 200 million or so labor workers throughout the mid west including my father who worked for 40 years, got seriously ill, and had his benefits taken away??

This was happening long before people understood what a mess things were becoming.

on Auto Industry CEOs = HYPOCRITES! at 12:55 11/19/2008While the behavior of the executives is wrong and disturbing, please remember that there are tens of thousands of lower and middle class workers in the Midwest who are effected by the tanking auto industry, including two of my brothers (both laid off, temporarily) and my father who worked for forty years and lost his retirement benefits. Anything we can do to save them, albeit it questionable, is worth it in my book. Besides, if the auto industry goes under we are looking at over 290 billion dollars in litigation fees for bankruptcy, charged to the taxpayer as well.
