on Mike Hukcabee Is Disgusting at 15:00 11/19/2008I'm sorry, but what did Mike Huckabee say that was so wrong here? I thought his response was great. He doesn't believe in gay marriage, but he is also not anti gay. He believes in gay rights from what I heard. Perez you are picking and choosing the bad things you want hear. You consider people who don't support gay marriage as anti gay. That's not really fair.

on Attention Homos at 14:56 11/19/2008Perez, I think your taking it a bit far. Just because someone voted YES on Prop 8, doesn't mean they are anti gay. A lot of people that voted YES are protecting the definition of marriage that is derived from the Bible that states it is between a man and a woman. Most didn't vote YES because they hate gay people. I'm sure some did, but most just want to protect the definition of marriage. If we try to change the definition of marriage, what else are we going to change??? I think Civil Unions should be given the same rights as marriage, therefore gay people can be recognized under the law with the same rights as married couples but your just not using the terminology "marriage."

on Elizabitch Talks Out Of Her Butt at 17:42 11/10/2008The only difference between civil unions and marriage should be that unions are under state only and marriage is under church and state.

on Elizabitch Talks Out Of Her Butt at 17:40 11/10/2008Since marriage is a religious ceremony and comes from the Bible and clearly states that marriage is between a man and a woman, I think we should leave it at that. Why not create civil unions that give couples all the same rights as married couples? Civil Unions wouldn't just be used by gays and lesbians but also heterosexual couples who do not want to be joined under a concept of the Bible. When a heterosexual athiest couple gets 'married', I hope they understand they are participating in a religious act.
