on Jon Goes To Court, Says Kate Took The Cash Too! at 11:28 10/12/2009Where in this sourced article does it show that Jon OR Kate said anything. Nowhere. You just need an excuse to continue your lovefest for Jon. And that you have a bitter mind cause even HE has standards not to do you.

on Harry Connick Jr. Offended By Racially Insensitive Australian TV Skit at 19:21 10/08/2009 as a reply on the comment by Bored As HellThere's my proof. There's no problem when it's done for stupid male humor? How is a comedy movie that uses blackface different from a comedy skit that uses blackface? The people who performed it and whether you know them, obviously. I brought up White Chicks because of the simple fact that no one batted an eyelash. Now there WAS some uproar over Tropic Thunder, however it was a white man wearing black face. It almost reverts to the "N" word debacle. It's okay for one race and not the other. Even though it's "history" is rooted in hate, just like blackface is, eventually things change. Still not okay for whites, but perfectly fine for people like Chris Rock. "Cracka/er" is still just fine and dandy, even when used racially. These are the types of actions and comments that continue racism on. I started out loving everyone. But the more I get older, and as a straight, white married female - I get told not to have an opinion on just about everything (whether it's good OR bad) that doesn't deal with white, straight females, but majority of black comedians have a field day making fun of white people.

on You Won't See This On TLC! Jon & Kate LIVE! Today! at 14:39 10/08/2009 as a reply on the comment by cs1234Nowhere does it say they will get inside the house. Nowhere does it say that they've got an agreement to show the meeting. They say they will be "on the scene". That could be just as "on the scene" as Jackson's autopsy, a bunch of paps standing outside straining to hear something, while pushing cams with 3000x zoom in the fence.

on Harry Connick Jr. Offended By Racially Insensitive Australian TV Skit at 12:46 10/08/2009 as a reply on the comment by PerezTheBlogNaziI don't think people want to pretend it's not there, obviously it is. But to assume that it's everyone, I think is where people get upset. If you are called a racist, whether you are or not, no matter what you say, it's "proof". Especially with the line that some of your friends are other races - which will be the exact proof that you do love and cherish someone as a friend of another race, is the most jabbed at to show you ARE. Never understood that one. I think what helps racism, not necessarily creates it, is that over time, people who try to stand up against it, still get called racist by the groups they are trying to help. You start to tread water and push against brick walls no matter how hard to try to pass the racist tag. Eventually, in some people, it causes a backlash and they turn into racists because they are sick and tired of other races trying to trod them down. I do applaud HCJ, that skit was very offensive. However, I think it is equally offensive for black people to go around putting "white face" on. Look at the film White Chicks for example. No one said a word about that. Those types of double standards are what can create more racism, instead of trying to keep it at a minimum.
