You've got to feel sorry for the kid he was born into a family of benefit scroungers, to a brood mare chosen for her purity (the last aristocrat in England who fitted the bill), while his father continued a relationship with the married Camilla Parker-Bowles (her ex-husband, Andrew P-B, has yet to give his life for his country, but certainly gave his wife and remains close to the royals). The best bit is (and maybe this is why us English are known for irony) you'd be hard pressed to find a drop of English blood in their lineage (hence the aristos overnight name changes in 1917 from the german-sounding Saxe-Coburg-Gotha to Windsor and Battenburg to Mountbatten). If it was fiction, you'd think it was ridiculously exaggerated, but this is our English reality!

Boy George is an inspiration - lives his life, takes no prisoners (ok, for the pedantic one minor blip) - he is fabulous, such a shame he couldn't see how fabulous. George - let the lovers love and the haters .. can you hear them? Me neither!
