i seriously doubt that "Bono would be proud" this version has too cheery a tone (esp the banjo) to pay respect to a very serious and still fresh event in Irish history. Sunday Bloody Sunday is a song about that particular event, not war in general. putting a few toy soldiers in a rainbow land does not counter act the twinkly tone enough to make it satirical or poignant. im not a big U2 fan but i do feel that this is one song you should not f*ck with.
