They've really pimped her out too much. I've also heard Demi, she's pretty amazing. Demi is getting a new show and JUST starting, okay? She's saying that she WON'T change in the "la la land machine" this is just the start of her career, she's saying she will stay who she is and not become a high maintenance celebrity who doesn't care about anyone but herself, or someone who is fake and changes just for other people. She isn't saying she's a huge star and everything, you need to listen to that TV host and what Demi is singing about - understand what she is saying!
