on Supporting Discrimination at 05:17 10/27/2008 as a reply on the comment by Twilighter76Actually, I grew up mormon, and I disagree with you. It's a choice to be mormon. It's not a choice to be gay. You might THINK it's a choice to be gay, and you all go out there and preach that it is, but some of my friends who are homosexual have told me that if they had a choice, they wouldn't be gay. I understand how hard it is to be LDS in a would where people are constantly telling you how "crazy" or "stupid" you are are constantly, but you have to realize that it is so much more difficult being a homosexual in this county. At least mormons are just considered crazy (yes, I understand there have been hate crimes against mormons too as my friend's brother was almost purposely run over by a car in alabama on his mission). Yet, in the end, I just feel like the LDS church standing on every street corner in my city has gotten to be too much. It's distracting for drivers and it's upsetting for the people that it is discriminating against. The worst part about it is is that they wear the biggest smiles on their faces while they wave around signs that promote hate.
