Just caught this, Perez -- but actually, Time Warner Cable pays Viacom. You've got it backwards up there ... they are demanding a LOT more money from us for the aforementioned crappy programming.
Hi -- I'm the director of digital communications at Time Warner Cable. And for Viacom to say that we're being unreasonable is patently ridiculous. They're asking for $39 million from our customers, in addition to the hundreds of millions that they already are getting. This is bold, to say the least.
As you well know, nobody watches MTV anymore unless they're stuck in a waiting room somewhere and Comedy Central puts its best shows online for free? Why should anyone pay more for free or crappy products?
