on It Is God's Will, Right??? at 11:42 11/14/2008Oh, and to wrap things up, I'll take a quote from the "Largest Hate Group in America" website: "I feel strongly that Christians have a scriptural mandate to love and care for all the people of the world. Everyone is entitled to be treated with respect and dignity, even those who are living in immoral circumstances. There is no place for hatred, hurtful jokes, or other forms of rejection toward those who are homosexual. We cannot hope to win others to Jesus Christ if we insult and wound them."

on It Is God's Will, Right??? at 11:42 11/14/2008Liberals all the most open-minded people, UNTIL you disagree with them. It is appalling that Perez referred to the Christian Focus on the Family organization as "one of the largest hate groups in America". They clearly explains their beliefs, with Biblical support. Christians are just as entitled as homosexuals to have strong beliefs about something! Christians are taught to treat everyone equally, everyone with love and respect. This does not mean we have to condone gay marriage, because the Bible teaches us that PRACTICING homosexuality is wrong, NOT that being a homosexual is wrong. However, God makes it perfectly clear that WE ARE ALL sinners, and all sinners can repent and be forgiven for their sins. I'm a heterosexual female, but I've done plenty of things that are not pleasing in God's eyes. I have gay friends, and I love them to death. I am no better or worse than they are. However, I believe that marriage should be between a man and a woman. Homosexuals have every legal right that heterosexuals do, but marriage is not simply a "right"...it's an institution that homosexuals want us to redefine to suit their lifestyle. I don't believe in it, but that doesn't make me a hate monger, and it's hateful to call me one.

on Gossip Girl Gets Political! at 12:20 10/14/2008Umm, not funny, not witty...what's the point? A bunch of d-list teen stars telling you you shouldn't vote McCain? If anybody in America would actually cast their vote by listening to them, with no facts, god help us all...

on Brad Pitt, Gay Activist! at 18:42 09/17/2008"Because no one has the right to deny another their life, even though they disagree with it"....I hope he's pro-life too, if that's his logic. It amazes me that people can make statements like that, about a gay marriage being likened to denying one their "life"...especially when most of those people support abortion rights. Babies are people too, and their lives shouldn't be taken away, as Brad Pitt says, "even though (people) disagree with it"....
