I haven't seen it yet (and I live in Chicago) but from everything I've heard it just seems like "Jersey Boys Jr." Maybe if I see it I'll be proven wrong, but as of right now my only reaction is "...meh."

How about getting Cheyenne Jackson on board as Elvis? THEN they'd be in business. mmmm. lol
